Of the 85 applications, 74 project posters were exhibited in the Central Campus Sports Hall. Following the presentations and evaluations of the projects, Evaluation and Award Council selected six projects to receive awards, including one jury’s award and two incentive awards.
BEÜ Maritime Faculty’s Vice-Dean Prof. Dr. Baki Hazer presented the first R&D Project Market’s Special Jury Award. Of the two incentive awards, the second place winner Serhat İkizoğlu (Istanbul Technical University) Dr. received his award from BEÜ Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhlis Bağdigen. The winners of the third, second and first place briefly presented their project ideas. The second place winner Uğur Hasçelik, who is a student at BEÜ Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, received his award from BEÜ Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dr. Mahmut Özer. The first place winner Asst. Dr. Ezgi Taylan Koparan, who is a member of the faculty at the BEÜ Ereğli Faculty of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Serkan Karakış, who is a member of the faculty at the BEÜ Geometric Engineering Department, received his award from Zonguldak Governor Ali Kaban.
