During the impressive event, Yurtbay Seramik disclosed their future investment and growth targets as well as presenting new products for the appreciation of the participants.

Member of the Board Mustafa Girgin, domestic and overseas dealers, as well as sales and marketing field teams discussed Yurtbay Seramik’s present position and outlook in depth at the convention.
İlter Yurtbay: "We are here to work hard"
Held at the Voyage Belek Golf & Spa on December 11-13, the convention’s opening speech was delivered by İlter Yurtbay, Vice Chairman of the Board at Yurtbay Seramik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. Stating that they always consider their dealers as members of the Yurtbay Family, İlter Yurtbay emphasized the significant role they play in achieving the Company goals. He addressed the need for enhancing cooperation and communication with the purpose of committing to their success. Pointing out that Yurtbay Seramik follows all the developments and trends in the ceramics industry, İlter Yurtbay asserted that they have adopted an approach that focuses on continuous self-renewal while guiding and leading the industry with their foresight. İlter Yurtbay continued as follows: "While Turkey is developing due to a growing economy, there is a fierce contest across all industries, including ceramics industry. We set very ambitious goals for this contest. At Yurtbay Seramik, we are ready to keep up our end of the bargain to achieve our goals. We are here to work hard to ensure continuous advancement and growth not only for our group of companies but for the nation as well."
Investment in the third plant continues
Yurtbay Seramik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. Member of the Board Mustafa Girgin talked about Yurtbay Seramik’s major objectives they were pursuing at home and abroad. Stating that they have invested in a third plant with 35,000 square meters enclosed space in 2014, Girgin communicated their 2015 plan of expanding the enclosed space to 115,000 square meters (with a production capacity of 30 million square meters). He also mentioned their plan to commission a new facility for the production of large-size ceramic products. Girgin pointed out that Yurtbay Seramik was on the rise in all business research and statistics that were published in the recent years. He referred to their accelerating R&D investments and stated that with its extensive network of dealers, Yurtbay Seramik was among the major players of the industry.
Serkan Peker, Vice Chairman of the Board at Yurtbay Seramik Pazarlama A.Ş., took the microphone after Girgin. In addition to sharing Yurtbay Seramik’s 2015 sales strategies, Peker talked about their planned services. Expressing that they were paying attention to dealer opening events and showroom organizations, Peker stated that innovations would continue.
Winners of the Zeki Yurtbay Design Competition received their awards
Winners of the traditional Zeki Yurtbay Design Contest were presented their awards during the Dealer Convention. The winner Tuğçe Oğuztürk, a senior at the Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Industrial Design, received 5,000 Turkish lira in prize money.
The runner-up Eyüp Yılmaz, a senior at the Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design, received an iMac desktop computer.
Third place winner Aslı Erkun, a senior at the Anadolu University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Industrial Design, received an iPad.
Prof. Dr. Hikmet Yazıcı and everyone who contributed to the establishment of the department. Prof. Dr. Üstün Dökmen also participated in the convention as a speaker. The convention concluded with the closing remarks and thank you speech presented by Kemal Saygı, Sales Manager at Yurtbay Seramik Pazarlama A.Ş. Sidenur Töre and Mustafa Keser took the stage during the gala dinner.
